It will no doubt be easy to circumvent but the onus will be on the user to remember to circumvent it consistently. If they forget one time and something with an AI watermark makes it into their work, they personally are now tainted.

it sounds good, but i don't see how text can be "watermarked" in a way that wouldn't be trivially easy to circumvent
